Peas & Swings

Nice title, huh? It makes you wonder how this post is going to turn out.
Lots of photos today!!
First, Quinn had peas last night and they were a huge hit! He sucked them down! He loved them.
Ean had cereal; he didn't eat it. We will keep trying. A fellow mom told me it took her 5 month old 2.5 weeks before he would eat.
We went to the park today it was beautiful and warm- but once we got there I realized it was WAY TOO windy. The wind was cold, the sun was warm. I could barely stand up against some of the gusts. One gust blew the canopy off the stroller- and it was attached!!!
The boys did get in a baby swing- long enough for me to take photos. They actually only fit in the swing if they are both in it. I stole this photo idea from Marcia Cross (Desperate Housewives) She has twin girls. The paparazzi always follows them to the park and gets photos of cute Eden and Savannah in the swing together. How intrusive that must be!
Quinn is still a talking machine! Last night in bed, Chris had to tell him it was time to be quiet now and go to sleep. It was funny.
Quinn has a cold but seems happy about it- he is coughing, sneezing, and has a really stuffy nose! (another reason we spent only 10 minutes outside)
Ean is very fussy today. I think he may be getting an ear infection. He is screaming and grabbing his ear- which I don't remember seeing him do ever before.
Yesterday, I made Tuscan Beef Stew over Egg Noodles for DInner.
Tonight I am making Creamy Chicken Tortilla Soup! I am so domesticated.
Enjoy the photos!

Their onesies say, "HI, I am new here," (with a pic of the earth) and "50%mommy, 50%daddy, 100%cute"

Tummy Time!

The boys slept from 11 pm to 5 am. A whole night of sleep. I can't believe it. We fed them at 8 pm and then played with them, bathed them, and then fed them again at 10:45. We tracked toys, laughed, grabbed the dogs, practiced laying on our tummies and lifting our heads, and danced with Chicken Dance Elmo. It's exhausting just typing it.
Yesterday at Target (our favorite outing- big store with everything and worth getting the stroller out!) Anyway, a woman walked by me pushing the stroller and said, (not so under her breath) "Oh, wowwww." Like in a pitying tone. For the first time ever, people speak indirectly to us or to their companions like we aren't standing right there and can HEAR. I don't need pity- I am the happiest person on earth! (and also maybe the most tired and exhausted) I am having the time of my life- they are missing out! I may not type this at any other time of the day though.....
