(no subject)

No news on Ean rolling today. That boy doesn't do anything unless he is good and ready. I am currently trying to not bust out laughing because Quinn and Ean are in their Bumbos with their toys and Quinn has been babbling at his brother for the past 10 minutes. He actually has been talking since he got up this morning! At 5 am, he started babbling in his sleep. I went in and his eyes were closed and he was talking and talking....I brought him in to bed with me so he wouldn't wake his brother. He is now babbling and looking at Ean and moving his head and Ean looks like he is intently listening. He also is making all these faces while he is talking. It is very comical. He occasionally looks around at the TV or the furniture, etc. Then back at his brother. It's almost as if he is saying, "as I was saying......"
We went to the Y today. I watched the Roger Clemens Congressional hearings while on the elliptical. It really made the time go by fast and I was trying really hard to read the bottom of the screen to see what he was saying. I was so into it, I totally didn't realize I could have just plugged my headphones in and listened. I am so absentminded since I have had the babies (and when I was pregnant) It hasn't gone away! Today, I got a Valentine in the mail that I had literally mailed to myself instead of the person it was supposed to go to! Mail is quick-I sent it out 24 hours ago!
I got a new wireless router that took forever to hook up last night. It will hopefully be faster. I just don't think I should have to wait for pages to load in pieces. It is not my laptop and not my internet- so says Apple and Cox.
Off to make dinner! (or stir my CrockPot!!!) (I love that thing!)

Weekend

The wine and cheese soiree was really fun! The boys slept most of the time. Ean danced with our friend Denise. Chris wore a sport jacket and it was hilarious because he was dead serious about it.

Ashlyn between the boys!
We ran around this weekend- to the mall, the North Pole, Sam's, etc.....It takes forever to go anywhere!
Quinn is laughing now. It is hard to remember they are 2 different people and can't possibly do everything at the same time. Ean smiles and looks amused a lot, but hasn't really laughed. Quinn thinks Chris is hilarious.
We are hovering around 5 hours at night and they are only 2 months old. I am thrilled. It is odd though because during the day they can barely make it 3 hours before the next feeding.

This is a 2 months old photo. The weirdest thing happened with this. I was using the rattles to practice tracking with them. I took each rattle and laid it in the middle of each of their chests when I was done. I left the room for something and when I came back they were both holding them in their arms. Weird! (to me at least)

Here is Ean after a bath in his duck towel. I took it without a flash cause it was too bright with it.
Yesterday after church we were having lunch at Jason's Deli. On the way out, Chris commented that he wondered why people assumed we were deaf since we had twins. I asked why. He said because he passed a woman that said, "oh, that must be terrible!" or something along the lines of the horrible life we must have. He was mad but then said people probably just feel bad. I think he was positive about it because earlier at church a choir member came up to us and said he had twin girls and it was fun and it will be a blessing to bring them up. Chris told him thank you because all people ever say is how rough and hard it will be and it felt good to hear something positive for once!
Boys go to the doctor tomorrow for their two month cehck up and first shots!
